DECJUBA Foundation and Co-Impact announce new global partnership to advance gender equality

DECJUBA Foundation is pledging an AUD $450,000 commitment to Co-Impact’s Gender Fund across three years.

Melbourne, Australia – This International Women’s Day, DECJUBA Foundation and Co-Impact are proud to announce a new multi-year partnership to accelerate progress for women and girls living in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

DECJUBA Foundation is pledging an AUD $450,000 commitment to Co-Impact’s Gender Fund across three years. This funding will go to locally rooted, predominantly women-led organisations tackling the root causes of inequality across health, education, and economic opportunity in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

With this partnership, DECJUBA Foundation joins a growing community of Australian and global philanthropies — including MECCA M-POWER, the Minderoo Foundation, and Fondation CHANEL — working together to advance gender equality by backing local leaders who are driving lasting change at scale for women and girls.

This partnership reflects DECJUBA Foundation’s commitment to community-driven philanthropy and collaborative giving. The Foundation recognises that meaningful and sustainable progress toward gender equality is best achieved by supporting local leadership, long-term partnerships, and trust-based funding approaches.

“At DECJUBA, we believe in backing women — not just in words, but in action. Our commitment to Co-Impact reflects our belief that real change happens when women have the power, resources and platform to lead in their own communities.

This multi-year commitment is about backing that leadership for the long term — investing in changemakers, learning as we go, and playing our part in shifting the systems that have held women and girls back for far too long. When women lead, communities thrive — and that’s the future we’re proud to stand behind.” said Tania Austin, Owner and Chair of DECJUBA.

“We are so excited and grateful to partner with DECJUBA Foundation. This partnership is about more than funding. It’s about shared values: a belief that progress happens when we trust local leaders, collaborate across sectors, and act with urgency and ambition. At a moment when women’s rights and gender equality are under increasing pressure globally, partnerships like this matter more than ever”, said Olivia Leland, Founder and CEO of Co-Impact.

Aiming to mobilise $1 billion by 2030, the Co-Impact Gender Fund convenes leading foundations, philanthropists, corporations, and other donors to commit significant funding for gender equality. Bringing unique perspectives and experiences, all funders are connected by a deep commitment to advance gender equality and women’s leadership across the globe.
