Festus Odingo

Festus works closely with program partners in Africa throughout the grant lifecycle—from sourcing and designing their initiatives to tracking impact and capturing insights and lessons from implementation.
Festus holds two master’s degrees in Research in Applied Economics and Development Economics, and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management Science from the University of Bordeaux, France. With over a decade of experience in development economics and Data, monitoring and evaluation, he has worked with organizations such as IFPRI, UN World Food Programme, Coalition for Sustainable Development and PARIS21, contributing to programs on gender equality, food security/systems, and data systems strengthening.
Festus lives in Nairobi with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys reading research journals and exploring innovations in climate resilience and agriculture — areas that reflect both his professional curiosity and personal enthusiasm for sustainable development.
