Senior Program Assistant
Prior to joining the Co-Impact team, Kaila was Creative Writer and Project Consultant at Eddywhere, Inc., an education cooperative specializing in customized creative content for K-12 public school students. Her role focused on writing financial literacy and career well-being curriculum that empowered students with social and emotional resources to develop their strengths, interests, and values.
Previous to her work in education development, Kaila worked with the La Merced Tourism Association in Colombia on organizational strengthening and building government and civic partnerships for sustainable tourism development in the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kaila received her bachelor’s degree from The New School and earned her master’s degree in International Affairs from The Milano School of Public Engagement where she focused on human rights, development, and global justice.
