Leticia Born

Associate Director, Global and Latin America

Leticia coordinates program partner sourcing, grantmaking and partner support on system change and gender equality grants in Latin America and Global.

She brings almost 14 years of experience in social development and communications, particularly in the philanthropic sector, and in continuously providing strategic advice towards program design and implementation, led by civil society organizations.

Prior to joining Co-Impact, Leticia was a Senior Program Manager at Porticus, leading the grantmaking strategy and implementation of Education and Early Childhood programs in Peru and Brazil, focused on building bridges amongst civil society organizations around equity. She also coordinated the development of a nascent portfolio in Gender and Racial Equity and Democratic Governance in Brazil.

Leticia is a proud mother living in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with her family. “She has lived previously live in the Netherlands, United States and Jordan and has professional experience in multi-country and diverse organizations. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam (2014).
