Ssuuna has had varied career, with experiences ranging from tax at Deloitte and events in Saudi Arabia to being a Creative Coordinator in the marketing communications team at Apple and running production for a canned cocktail startup. Through these previous roles he discovered a love for problem-solving and collaborative environments, increasingly drawn to the purpose-driven and impact-led work of the NGO and philanthropic sectors after a stint at UNICEF prior to joining Co-Impact.

Ssuuna studied Literae Humaniores (Classics) at the University of Oxford. A budding linguist, he speaks five languages (English, Luganda, French, Spanish and Portuguese) – and counting! When he is not studying grammar and vocabulary lists, he loves to swim, paint, go on long walks (usually 10km per day!), have adventurous experiences travelling the world , and listen to music – with an encyclopaedic knowledge of many song lyrics.
