Stephen Mwangangi

Stephen is a Manager of Philanthropic Collaboration at Co-Impact based in Nairobi. He is involved in developing and managing relationships with Co-Impact’s funding partners with a focus on the Gender Fund.

Stephen has over 12 years of experience in partnerships and business development working with various humanitarian and development organizations in Africa. Prior to Co-Impact, Stephen was a Partnerships Specialist with UNOPS (UN Office for Project Services) in South Sudan where he led strategy and partnership development, resource mobilization, donor engagement, knowledge management and innovation. Previously, he was Head of Business Development at Save the Children International where he led partnerships development and resource mobilization in Somalia. His prior experience also includes working with Traidcraft Exchange as Regional Funding Manager for East Africa and business development for HIAS Africa.

Stephen holds a Master’s degree in Communication Studies and a First Class Honors Bachelor’s degree in Education (Linguistics and Literature), both from the University of Nairobi.
