Thaís Santos

Program Manager, Latin America and Global

At Co-Impact, Thaís supports on program partner sourcing, grantmaking and partner support on systems change and gender equality grants in Latin America and Global.

Thaís holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, with a focus on Gender Studies, from São Paulo University, and a recent postgraduate degree in Afro-Latin Studies from the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at Harvard University. She has over 12 years of professional experience in social development organizations, having worked as Global Project Manager at Hivos, where she designed and implemented programs addressing climate change and gender equity, particularly through the lens of women’s economic empowerment, across four countries.

She also worked at UNICEF Brazil, where she managed projects focused on children and youth development, including topics such as education, mental health, and climate change. She spent over two years in the Lesotho UNICEF office as an International Consultant, addressing the impact on children and youth in various emergency contexts, including droughts and COVID-19.
