Collaborative Evidence Building for Impact at Scale: From Local to Global
SVRI, a global leader in research on violence against women (VAW) and violence against children (VAC) in the global majority/low- and middle-income countries, champions rigorous, feminist-informed science that values diverse perspectives and lessons from practice. Research is essential to understand the scale of violence, identify what works, and hold systems accountable.
Through this initiative in Sri Lanka’s health system, SVRI is growing the evidence base on integrating primary prevention into national systems, building a cohort of excellence that connects with a wider community of researchers and practitioners, and shaping the global agenda to end VAW.
