Gendered Care Economy Policy in Sri Lanka

Verité Research is conducting extensive research to map the care economy in Sri Lanka, aiming to place it on the national policy agenda. Their approach involves data collection, evidence generation, and developing tools to better understand the care infrastructure and social landscape. Over three years, Verité envisions filling data gaps, generating evidence, and informing policy, such that care work is valued and recognized in Sri Lanka, consequently empowering over 3.4 million women.
